Today we spent the entire day cycling along the Erie Canal on the Canalway Trail. Riding on this cyclist/pedestrian specific trail was a nice change as it allowed us to easily meet other travelers. Later in the day we met Johannes and Hubert Mayer, a father and son from Wolfenbuettel, Germany who were riding from Indiana to New York City. We enjoyed chatting with them about cyclotouring and thank them for making a donation to the Leukemia Society.
