North Branch, MI - We left Leroy early this morning and finished our westward trek across the lower penisula by late morning and then we turned north and cycled through the Manistee National Forest. We enjoyed our ride through the forest as we observed an ecosystem which was full of plant and animal life. By late evening we reached the west coast of the Michigan lower peninsula in Traverse City and took in a beautiful view of a bay filled with sailboats in the distance.
