Mary Joins Us & Larry Shows-Off His Vintage Schwinn
North Branch, MI - Mary Fordham joined us today in Traverse City and we welcome Mary as she will be riding with us for the next 10 days in Michigan and Wisconsin.
During our ride through Grand Rapids, Michigan we met Larry Thompson as he rode his vintage girl's Schwinn bicycle into a convenience store. He told us his bike was over 40 years old and he found it in the trash and "brought it back to life again" after dling some repair work on it. Larry likes the bike because as he demonstrated to us, he can bungee a cane between the handlebars and the seat post and grab for the cane to fend off irate dogs.
