Bicycle & Horse Traffic On Mackinaw Island
Fargo, ND - This morning we boarded a ferry in Mackinaw City and went to Mackinaw Island, where automobiles are prohibited and bicycles and horses are the main modes of transportation.
While on the island, we cycled on a path that circles the entire island and afterward indulged ourselves with free samples of the famous fudge, which is made on the island. In the evening we boarded another ferry and went to St. Ignace to complete our crossing of the Mackinaw Straight and begin our ride in the upper peninsula of Michigan.
We Thank Today's Fans For Life:
Bob & Diane Shockey - Let us stay at their condo on Lake Michigan and gave us access to their beach to swim in Lake Michigan.
